S&P Cricket Academy off to India

Two junior teams (Under 13 and 15) of the S&P Cricket Academy Colombo will leave the island on a short tour to Bangalore, India. The two teams will take part in a tournament scheduled to be held in Bangalore from April 10.

They will play five matches which are scheduled to end on April 16. The two teams will be led by two Royalists with Naveen Bandara leading the Under 13 side and his deputy will be Madhawa Fernando.
The Under 15 side will be led by Malaka Ihalagedera with Rajindu Rodrigo as his deputy.

The team will be accompanied by the three officials comprising of two senior coaches Shammi Thilakawardena and Prasad Amerasekera and Coach Asoka Abeywickrmaarachchi. They are expected to be back in the island on April 19. (MSA)
