New rugby coach for CH&FC

By Bernie Wijesekera
There is bound to be a fresh breeze at the CH&FC this rugby season as a new coach has taken over their coaching.

The newcomer is P.H. Edward, Level Three rugby coach. He was born and bred in Wales, played first class rugby in Swansea District and later migrated to Australia in 1982 where he qualified as a Level Three coach and also coached the Victoria Academy under 16, 19 and 20 teams.

Edward had been in touch with Motilal Jayathilake, the former University of Peradeniya physical education instructor who has coached several leading schools and club teams.
