Kingswood take it easy

By Aubrey Kuruppu
Kingswood did enough in the first half to allow themselves the luxury of going to sleep in the second as they pulled off a 26 points (3 goals, 1 try) to 9 (3 penalties) to win over Dharmaraja at Bogambara yesterday.

Flanker Gayan Ratnage (2 tries) stood out for the winners.
At half-time, Kingswood led 19-3, thanks to tries by Ratnage (2) and winger Kasun Wijesuriya.
The winners added a goal to their tally in the second half when a high up and under by Sansoni was misfielded by the Rajans and they pounced on the ball in the Rajans 22 for Mohamed Asthaf to fall over.
Roshan Weeraratne added the extra points for Kindswood, while Indika Wickremanayake converted the penalties for Dharmaraja.
