Old building in Puttalam school a threat to students

The failure by authorities to demolish an old building of the Navodaya National School at Kottukachchiya in the Puttalam district is posing a threat to the school’s  students. Jaffna university undergrads suspended for ragging

Twenty one undergraduates from the Jaffna University have been suspended over their involvement of ragging first year student, the university authorities said. They have been told to immediately vacate the campus premises and were told to refrain from entering the premises. This includes two medical faculty students.
