The Newman Society of the Uni Peradeniya, Organised a two day workshop

The Newman Society of the University of Peradeniya, conducted a two day residential workshop and exposure programme on the theme ‘Jesus and my relationship with Him’ for the University students of Peradeniya and Colombo at St Vincent’s Home Maggona. Frs. Joseph Srinath OMI and Sameera Fonseka OMI addressed the students with their inspiring spiritual talks and Bro. Anton OMI provided board and lodging. The University Students also visited the children who are in the care of St. Vincent’s Home and engaged in life and faith sharing sessions with them.
We were also able to organise an alms giving for the children of the institute.
We thank all the Oblate Fathers and our Benefactors who have been assisting us continuously to conduct such programmes for the University students in Sri Lanka.
