In order to ensure that students don’t face unnecessary complications, a team from the Nawaloka College of Higher Studies visited the Swinburne University of Technology in Australia. The team also caught up with past and present students, and conversed on additional support that NCHS can give the students. Another highlight of the visit was the meeting with Mr. Kapila Fonseka, Consul General of Sri Lanka to Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania. Mr. Fonseka pledged his support to our students and all the other Sri Lankan students in all ways necessary towards welfare and assistance.

The foundation also prepares students with the skills needed for university education, giving them an added advantage.

For students who have completed their A/L exams, the UniLink diplomas provide a direct pathway into the second year of a bachelor’s degree. This is the ideal path for students who want to pursue an international degree, yet wish to commence in Sri Lanka for reasons such a comfort, finances etc.

The best of Sri Lanka and Australia

“NCHS is the exclusive partner for the Swinburne University of Technology, so you have the advantage of getting more help with your studies with one-on-one help from the excellent teaching staff and the smaller classrooms. This also means that you have full access to the blackboard online system from the start. All of this helps to make the transition as smooth as it can be” explained Imashi Senanayake who transferred to Melbourne in order to complete her degree in Bachelor of Business (Professional).
