A seminar  on  “Food  Quality,  Safety  and Regulations”  will be conducted  by  the Institute of Chemistry Ceylon  at its headquarters in, Kotte Road Welikada, Rajagiriya on 17thSeptember from 8.30  am to 4.30pm.

With an estimated 600 million cases of foodborne illnesses annually, unsafe food is a threat to human health and economies globally.Consumers in many countries  demand food products of high and consistent quality throughout the year and for competitive prices.. The competitiveness of food production will soon be more dependent on the reliability of the safety and the quality of the food and acceptability of the production procedures than on quantity and price.
