University economists will gather for Sabaragamuwa Uni conference

The seventh International Conference of the Sri Lanka Forum of University Economists (SLFUE) will be hosted by the Sabaragamuwa University on December 20 to 21 under the main theme ‘Reshaping Development: New Horizons of Economics’.

Some of the sub themes of the conference will be: Framing Macroeconomic Policies; Reshaping Human Capital for Enhancing Productivity; Challenges in Social Welfare and Equity; Business and Finance to Foster Growth and Tourism; and Trade, Investment and Global Economic Integration.

The purpose of the conference is to provide researchers a platform to disseminate their research findings, discuss issues in each other’s studies and develop their work. The event will be open for researchers across the world.
