Northern Governor Cooray gets distinction in Tamil

Reginold Cooray, somewhat fluent in Tamil had begun learning advanced Tamil during his off hours in Jaffna. The result – he delivered a speech in impeccable Tamil at Neerveli after commissioning an electricity plant. Governor Cooray was in for praise by civilians in the area.
