Ravindu Laksiri and Mihiliya Methsarani came out on top as the duo emerged champions of the Under 19 boys and girls categories at the 24th National Squash Championship concluded at the Sara Stadium Squash Courts yesterday.

Ravindu overcame Shamil Wakeel who won the under 17 title in the final while Mihiliya ended up with a double of titles having won the under 17 title earlier defeated Naduni Gunawardena in the final.

age groups were:

Under-9 – Boys: E.A.N. Lakmani. Girls: V.S. Chanithma Sinaly. Under-11- Boys: M.I.F. Asmone. Girls: Dewmini Gallage. Novices – Boys: Jehan Chapman. Girls: Ravindi Ratnayake. Under-13 – Boys: Druvinka Perera. Girls: Sameera Deen.

Under-15 – Boys: Senidu Induwara Dharmaratne. Girls: Wasundra Suwaris. Novices – Boys: Binura Wadugodapitiya. Girls: Navodya Ratnasiri. Under-17 – Boys: M. Shamil Wakeel. Girls: Mihiliya Methsarani. Under-19 – Boys: Ravindu Laksiri. Girls: Mihilya Methsarani. Novices – Boys: Malith Diyakalanage. Girls: Kahdijah Yoonus. – MSA
