Training camp held for Maharagama junior athletes

A training camp for young athletes from schools based in Maharagama was held at the Navinna Public ground recently. The camp, which was organised by the Colombo District Athletic Association, attracted over 350 youngsters from 24 schools of the Maharagama educational zone. The camp was conducted by well-known trainer and coach Nihal Senerath, who is also the Assistant Secretary of the Colombo District Athletic Association. Hemantha Textiles Maharagama sponsored the day-long coaching camp. All athletes who underwent training received certificates from the organisers.
