Colombo Ahadiyyah School (Boys Section) celebrated its 31st anniversary celebration and prize giving ceremony at the AAM Marleen Hall (MICH) Wellawatte, Colombo recently.
This school conducting classes in grade one to ordinary level every Sundays in Sinhala, Tamil and English Medium at the Nimal Road Masjid Colombo. There are 150 students and 25 teachers were at this school
Welcome address delivered by chairman of the organising committee Shamayil Shaheedullah at the ceremony.
Chief Guest Negombo High Court Judge M.M.A. Gaffoor, Guest of Honour ITN Director Hashim Omar and Guest Speaker Moulavi Hafil Safraz Iqbal were distributed the prizes for winners at the ceremony.
Also the prizes were distributed to winners of the contest who take part oratory, speech, essay, calligraphy, qaseedha and quirath competitions. Inter school quiz competition D.S. Senanyake College received champion award and first and second runners award received by Dehiwela Ahadiyyah School and Amal International School from the chief guest.
