Sri Lanka forms Bodybuilding Federation

The Natural Bodybuilding, Fitness and Culture Federation (NBFCF) was formed recently under the leadership of former muscleman Thilak Jayaweera.
Anura Fernando and Nimal Padmas were appointed Founder Secretary and Treasurer respectively of the new federation, which has been registered under the Ministry of Culture and Arts. Other officials of the NBFCF are Sanath Weerasooriya, Basil Fernandez, Mahinda Weerawardana, Sidney de Silva, Lal Perera, Nimal Padmasiri, H.D.A. Gunasekara, Gamini Silva, D.P. Padmaperuma, Sudesh Rupasinghe, Nihal Weerathunga and Manathunga Samaranayaka.
The NBFCF is affiliated to the World Bodybuilding Physique Sports Federation in UAE, the Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Federation in Singapore and the South Asian Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation in India.
