Old Bens and Moratuwa University to meet in CDCA final

Two unbeaten teams, Old Bens SC and the University of Moratuwa will clash in the final of the CDCA Division three cricket championship, which is scheduled to be played on January 13 at the SSC grounds from 10.00 a.m.
The match will be played under the new ICC rules, according to the Chairman of the CDCA Tournament Committee, Aruna De Silva.
The winners will receive the CDCA Trophy, a cash prize and certificates. The runners-up will also receive a trophy, a cash award and certificates. Special awards will also be awarded to the Best Batsman, Best Bowler and Man of the Match.
The University of Moratuwa will pick their final team from W.A.R. Perera. H.K.R. Madushanka, W.P. Jayawardena, V.T. Ariyaratne, W.S.U. Perera, N. Nadaraja, J.S. Arukgoda, V.G.L. Prasanaga, N. V. Gunatialake, A.G. Marasinghe, G.N. Abeysekera, B.D. Dhananjaya, N. Wijewanta, W.T.K. Perer and K. Munasinghe.
The Old Bens SC squad comprises J. Perera, T. Silva, S. Sandamal, E. Ratnayake, M. Madushanka, A. Rantnasinghe, G. Jayatilake, S. Peiris, C. Jayashanka, Y. Soyza, S. Rathnayake, J.A. Priyanatha, J. Silva, N. Fonseka and M. Jayalath. (BM)
