Maris Stella wins ‘A’ final over SPC
View(s):Maris Stella College won the boys All Island under 15 ‘A’ Division basketball final, when they defeated St. Peter’s College by 43 points to 34, at Negombo recently.
Nirmal Perera with 14 points and Thejan Fernando 13 were the best shooters for Maris Stella, while N. Liyanage was the top scorer for St. Peter’s with 18.
The Best Player award was won by Nirmal Perera of St. Peter’s College, while the Best Offensive Player was Thejan Fernando also of SPC. The Best Defensive Player was N. Liyanage. (BM)
