CFC post third win
View(s):Colombo Football Club posted their third successive win in the ongoing Premier League Division One Soccer tournament when they beat Golden Star SC, Kandy by three goals to one at the City League grounds recently. At half time the tally was 1-0 in favour f CFC.
A.M.A. Aslam got CFC off the mark when he booted the opening goal. After the turn around, they added a further two when Nigerian Adinuba Frank goaled a free kick and the final goal was off the boot of left half Zia Usman off a pass from right half Niran Kansishka.
The goal for Golden Star was scored by M.S.S. Cooray. Super Sun SC beat Old Bens SC 1-0. Super Beach SC drew with Moragasmulla SC 1-1. Java Lane SC beat Cooray SC 7-0. Pelicans SC beat Kandy York SC 8-0. – BM
