The Old Josephians retained the Rev. Joe. E. Wickramasinghe Challenge Trophy for the third successive year when they defeated the Old Peterites by two goal to one, in their annual soccer fixture at the CR and FC grounds recently.

At the short whistle the score was nil all. While both goals for the winners were scored by Kasun Jayasinghe through a field goal and a penalty, right extreme Mohamed Asheen got his boot onto the ball to score for the Old Peterites. (BM)
