The Singithi Avurudu Ulela of the Primary School of St Joseph’s College, Colombo 10, was held on April 24, at the school grounds, with primary students participating in Sinhala and Tamil New Year customs, traditions, and games.
The pictures show Rector Rev Fr Ranjith Andradi performing the ritual of anointing oil on a student’s head, and the students welcoming the invitees with a betel sheaf.
Vice Rector and Principal of the Primary School Rev Fr Priyan Tissera, along with other Fathers, teachers, and several students were present.
