Lyceum Campus Awards Ceremony 2026 Honours Academic Excellence

The Lyceum Campus Awards Ceremony 2026 was held on 13 January 2026 at the BMICH Main Hall, recognising the academic achievements of students from across Lyceum Campus locations and disciplines.
The ceremony was formally declared open by Prof. Mohan De Silva, President of Lyceum Campus. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Bardo Fraunholz, Associate Dean – International and Partnerships, Faculty of Business and Law, Office of the Executive Dean, Business and Law, highlighting the importance of global academic collaboration and quality higher education.
A total of 462 students were honoured at the ceremony, representing the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Business. Awards were presented to students who successfully completed foundation, certificate, diploma, and international pathway programmes.
Programmes recognised at the ceremony included the Deakin University Pathway Programme; the Lyceum Global Foundation Certificate in Business and Certificate in Science; Diplomas in Early Childhood Development Education, Primary School Teaching, English Language Teaching, and Teaching Mathematics; and the ABE Level 4 Foundation Diploma in Business Management.
All teacher-training diploma and foundation programmes offered by Lyceum Campus are approved by the Tertiary and Vocational Education Commission (TVEC). The Deakin University Pathway Programme is delivered under a Deakin-licensed curriculum, with first-year studies conducted in Sri Lanka. The ABE qualification is offered in partnership with the Association of Business Executives and is a recognised UK qualification. In addition, Lyceum foundation programmes are recognised by several international partner universities.
The ceremony was attended by deans and academic staff from the Faculties of Education, Business, Medical Sciences, and Engineering, reflecting the strong academic collaboration within Lyceum Campus.
Lyceum Campus operates across Nugegoda, Wattala, Panadura, Gampaha, Kurunegala, and Ratnapura, with a newly established study centre in Galle, continuing its commitment to delivering accessible, internationally recognised higher education opportunities across Sri Lanka.
