Yuhansa, Dinara, Ganuka, Thehan book Yeti SSC Open final berths

Yuhansa Peiris and Dinara de Silva, in the women’s category, along with Ganuka Fernando and Thehan Wijemanne in the men’s, booked the berths to the final of the Women’s and Men’s Open finals of the Yeti SSC Open Tennis Championship after coming out victorious in the semi-final encounters played at the SSC tennis courts in Colombo yesterday.

Yuhansa overcame Sandithi Usodaarachchi while Dinara got the better of Annaya Norbert by the identical straight wins to reach the Women’s Open Singles final. In the Men’s Open Singles, Ganuka defeated Harishva Parameshwaran while in the other semi-final between brothers Thehan ousted his younger sibling Methvan Wijemanne to set up the final against Ganuka. The two finals will be played today at the same venue from 9:00am.
