1. About Sri Lanka Technology Campus (SLTC)
Sri Lanka Technology Campus (SLTC) is a premier higher education institution committed to offering a transformative learning experience for students who view education as a lifelong pursuit. As a non-state degree-awarding body, SLTC is recognised by the Ministry of Education, Higher Education and Vocational Education. SLTC is proud to be a full member of the Sri Lanka Association of Non-State Higher Education Institutes (SLANSHI) and is also a member of the prestigious Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). The SLTC proudly boasts 6 faculties including the Faculties of Engineering, Science, Technology, Business, Computing & IT, Postgraduate Studies & Research, and the School of Music. In addition, we house other institutional departments and centers such as the Center for Communication Skills Development, the Office of Research & Innovation Services, and the Office of International Affairs & Grants, all committed to supporting SLTC’s mission in providing a transformative learning experience for students.
2.About International Research Conference 2025 (IRC-2025)
International Research Conference (IRC) is the annual flagship research event of the institute, organised by the Office of Research and Innovation (ORIS) under the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Research (FPSR). This year marks the 5th edition of the conference.
ORIS plays a pivotal role in linking the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Research with the university’s research community, acting as a service hub for research facilitation and collaboration. The FPSR serves as the strategic leader in advancing postgraduate education and research, fostering strong linkages with industry to cultivate an ecosystem of innovation and discovery.
The primary objective of IRC 2025 is to disseminate research and development findings, creativity, and innovations that contribute to sustainable development—benefiting students, academics, researchers, industrialists, policymakers, and the broader public both within and beyond Sri Lanka.
Scope of IRC2025
The International Research Conference 2025 (IRC 2025), themed “Unified by Innovation – Exploring the Digital Frontiers Across Disciplines,” is designed to advance interdisciplinary research and collaboration that support Sri Lanka’s national theme of digitalization. The conference serves as a vibrant platform for researchers, academics, innovators, and industry professionals to share insights, showcase pioneering work, and explore transformative digital technologies shaping the future across multiple disciplines.
