Lyceum International School Kurunegala opened its new Poseidon Swimming Pool on 13 November 2025, marking the second swimming pool established by the school. This modern facility further strengthens Lyceum’s sports programme and reinforces its commitment to developing well-rounded students.
Ms. Anusha Dissanayake, Deputy Directress of Education Development at the Kurunegala Zonal Education Office, attended as Chief Guest and commended the school’s continued efforts to uplift both educational and sporting standards.
School leaders, teachers, students, and invited guests took part in the ceremony, which included a guided introduction to the pool’s design and safety features. The new facility is suited for training, competitive swimming, and future inter-school events.
