Sri Lanka’s ‘Got Talent’ Season 3 back on Sirasa
View(s):Sri Lanka’s entertainment scene is set to heat up once again as third season of Sri Lanka’s ‘Got Talent’, the local adaptation of the globally renowned ‘Got Talent’ franchise, began airing on Sirasa TV on November 29, occupying the 8.30 pm. slot on Saturdays and Sundays.
Adding star power to the show, the Panel of Judges for Season 3 features Akhila Dhanuddara, Sangeetha Weeraratne, Dhanu Innasithamby and Stephanie Siriwardena, while the show is hosted by popular YouTube personalities Jana and Priya.
The preliminary auditions were conducted over the past few months across Anuradhapura, Jaffna, Kurunegala, Badulla, Kandy, Batticaloa, Ratnapura and Matara—covering all nine provinces—as well as at the Stein Studios in Ratmalana. From the thousands who took part, the judges shortlisted 100 contestants for the first round.
Sri Lanka’s Got Talent, spanning 28 episodes, showcases an extraordinary range of performers—from voice actors, motorcycle and bicycle stuntmen, gymnasts, musicians and magicians to mind readers, karate practitioners, artistes, circus performers and even ‘sando’ artists.
Sri Lanka’s Got Talent comprises a total of 28 programmes and features eight competitive stages. The show first aired in 2018, with its second season following in 2024. Season 2 was won by Ravindra Kumara, whose remarkable performance captivated audiences across the country.
