President meets Buddhist clergy
View(s):A day after returning from official visits to the United States and Japan, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake met the Buddhist clergy in Kandy and addressed their concerns over LGBTQI tourism and corporal punishment. His visit also included attending the ceremony to present the scroll endorsing the appointment of the new Anunayake of the Asgiri Chapter. The President is seen here presenting the scroll to the Most Venerable Naranpanawe Ananda Nayake Thera.
