The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the construction of a five-storey building for the University of Jaffna, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences.

Rs 2,234 million is to be allocated for this project. This would include lecture halls, laboratories, tutorial rooms, an examination hall, and an auditorium.

The proposal was presented by Prime Minister/Education Minister Harini Amarasuriya.
