Regional Cooperation for University Education Development – Options for South Asia
View(s):The University Grants Commission (UGC) of Sri Lanka and The World Bank will host a two-day international conference on Regional Cooperation for University Education Development on June 6-7.
The event will bring together the regional UGC network of the South Asia Regions (SAR) for discussions on future collaborative opportunities for the development of university education in the South Asian region.
The two-day event will see the launch of a World Bank regional report on higher education, peer-to-peer exchange, networking and a site-visit to a university for showcasing recent innovative higher education development in Sri Lanka that are supported by the World Bank’s AHEAD (Accelerating Higher Education Expansion and Development) Operation.
The conference will be held at the Taj Samudra, Colombo.
