Nafia House emerged champions at the annual sports meet of Muslim Ladies College Bambalapitiya, which was held at the Henry Pedris ground in Colombo last week.

Nafia outsmarted other houses Hajara, Razeena and Fathima to emerge victorious from the four groups. The sports meet had a variety of events ranging from track and field to colourful displays featuring the girls of Muslim Ladies College. Students, parents, teachers and well-wishers were present at the event to make it a success. Parliamentarian Pavithra Wanniarachchi graced the occasion as the chief guest while the principal, Dr. Hajarjahan Munsoor, and other school officials, M.S.M. Amhar, Fawaza Thaha and M.H.M. Niyas, gave their assistance towards making the school’s annual sports gathering a resounding success.
