Dewmith Weerasena of Lyceum International School Nugegoda impressed at the Junior National Table Tennis Championship by clinching the Under-10 boys singles title at the Jagath Rajapaksha International Indoor Stadium in Peradeniya.
Dewmith is the number one-ranked player in the Under-10 age group in Sri Lanka. He also won the All-Island championship in 2012. This year’s junior championship was organised and conducted by the Table Tennis Association of Sri Lanka and saw the participation of over 600 players from all over the island.
