‘Thurstan Dinner Dance 2010’ with popular band Misty and Heat will come alive at the Water’s Edge , Battaramulle on 2 October .
With the view of celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the Thurstan College, Colombo and the twentieth Anniversary of the Thurstan Dinner Dance, the organizing Committee is planning to make the dance a gala event.
According to D. M. D Abeyagunawardena , the head of this years Dance Committee, apart from Misty and Heat, more artistes and professional dancers will be on boards with Cifford Richards as the Master of Ceremonies.
There will be prizes and surprises including entrance ticket draw, selecting the Queen of the night, baila dance championships and Best Dressed Man along with air tickets and many gifts will come with different competitions. The ‘Thurstan Dinner Dance 2010’ is organized by the Old Boys Association and all proceeds will be channelled towards the College development Fund and OBA projects.
