Popular young musicain Chaminda Samaranayake of ‘Warshawe’ fame is back in the limelight again. ‘Tharuks’, the latest music album created by Chaminda for top young up coming artistes, was launched recently. The album features 12 new songs sung by Sanka Dineth, Gayani Madhusha, Amila Nadeeshani, Surendra Perera and Udesh Indula.
‘Kandulu Walin’ by Sanka Dineth, ‘Pata Pata Heda Heena’ by Amila Nadeeshani, ‘Adera Nam’ by Gayani Madhusha, ‘Neela Nethu Saragee’ by Udesh Indula and ‘Hadaweil Thalaye’(Group Song), ‘Henda Kale’ by Gayani Madhusha, ‘Sihina Sappuwe’ by Surendra Perera and ‘Sansare’(remix) by Sanka Dineth are some of the hits now on air from the album ‘Tharuka’.
‘My main motive is to make my creations reach the masses. ‘Tharuka’ is one such mode. As people like stars, I have used these popular stars in my new album’ he said.
Popular hits ‘Dangakara Pemwathi’ and ‘Monaliza’ too included in this album.
‘These songs have became extremely popular with the younger generation. I realized that there are talented singers among super stars and that prompted me to use these super stars’ Chaminda said.
His own album ‘Sanda Ahankara Eyi’, released in early this year was a success story.
‘This album comprises 12 romantic songs especially catering to the young at hearts. It has come as a result of my experience spanning ten to fifteen years in music. It caters to the mass market’ he added. |
