The new production of one of the most popular stages dramas ‘Suba Saha Yasa’ directed by Saiman Navagaththegama will go on the boards at the Lionel Wendt Theatre on today, September 26 at 3.30 pm. and 6.45 p.m.
This will be the 5000th show of the play that had been staged all around the caountry.
Sriyantha Mendis, Nihal Fernando, Kusum Renu, Samadara Ariyawansa, Wasantha Wittachchi, Amaradasa Thalgahagoda, Deepika Abeygunaratne, Ratne D. Nambuge, Premakumara Dassanayake, Kumara Thirimadura, Susil Perera, Neil Ravindra, Ravindra Ariyarathna and Asoka Zoysa are in the cast while the new production is by Sriyantha Mendis.
Makeup is by Wasantha Wittachchi, Stanley Omar is the music director and stage management is by Kumara Thirimadura and stage setting is by Lionel Bentarage. Costumes by Dhanapala and Kamalkanthi Bogodage and Upali Weerasinghe is providing the lighting.
