More than 14 million Sri Lankans will be eligible to vote at the upcoming Presidential Election — an increase of more than a million voters since the last poll in November 2005, according to officials at the Department of Elections.

A controversy over the closure of all schools in the Central Province to curb the spread of the H1N1 virus will be resolved after a Health Ministry team visits the province tomorrow, it was decided yesterday.
