Left arm leggie Neomal Wickramasekera making his debut starred in the drawn Under 19 inter-school cricket encounter between S. Thomas’ and Mahinda Galle at Mt Lavinia yesterday with a five wicket haul.Neomal’s 5 for 32 helped the Thomians after having made 203 for 8 bowl out the Mahindians for 157 with Nisala Gamage making a top score of 67. Earlier on day one Dinesh Walpita chipped in with a 51 and the home team batting the second time ended the day on 88 for 4. Thomians will meet DSS in the next week which is scheduled to be played at Mt Lavinia.
