View(s):Edlocate is an organization with a credible and an unblemished history of 22 years, a pioneer in the overseas student placement industry, Edlocate (Pvt) Ltd opened their doors for the 1st student in 1999 and have grown from there on in terms of students we place in foreign universities annually, our branch network and universities we directly represent as a designated agent.
While our head office is based in Colombo, we have branches in Kandy and Jaffna in Sri Lanka, Male in the Maldives, while our international office is in Adelaide, South Australia.
We represent over 100 universities in 7 countries, namely, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK, Ireland, Malaysia & Vietnam. All of these destinations combined we can offer multiple intakes per year for students who wish to pursue their tertiary education overseas after their AL’s or OL’s, as well as postgraduate study options to those who already possess a previous qualification. Students can enrol for Bachelors studies directly in the event they meet the entry requirements or commence their Bachelors through a pathway option. Those with completed qualifications can enrol for Postgraduate Diplomas, Masters or PhD studies.
Edlocate helps approximately two hundred students annually to enrol in a university of their choice, in their dream destination to pursue the study path that will help them achieve their academic and professional goals. Over the years we have helped over 500 student secure scholarships and these range from study bursaries all the way up to 100% scholarships.
Studying abroad is not only about getting a qualification offered by an overseas university, for a student it means much more, they get to immerse themselves in the beauty and culture of the country, experience all aspects of the country, make lifelong friends across the globe, gain overseas work experience and gain independence with a sense of responsibility. Overseas education will open doors for them that would not even be visible simply by studying in one’s own country even if what they are obtaining is a foreign degree.
Edlocate is proving students and parents the opportunity to visit the Grand Crystal Ballroom at Taj Samudra Colombo on 7th September from 14:00 – 18:30 and in Kandy at the Mini Ballroom at Queens Hotel on 8th September from 14:00 – 17:30 to speak directly with university representatives to plan their way forward. Edlocate staff too will be present to offer guidance and assistance to lodge applications, offer advise on financial requirements and even help with visa formalities for the students and visit visas for their parents and siblings.
