Twenty seven Northern Province schools to be renovated

The Indian High Commission in Colombo has reviewed the status of the project for the renovation of 27 schools in the Northern Province under Indian assistance.

The project was reviewed when Deputy High Commissioner Vinod K. Jacob met with the relevant authorities of the Sri Lankan Government, during a series of meetings in the last two weeks, to review the status of select ongoing development cooperation projects.

Deputy High Commissioner and Education Ministry Secretary Kapila Perera, co-chaired the project steering committee meeting for the renovation project of 27 Northern Province schools, under Indian assistance.

This meeting was held online, and Northern Province Education Ministry Secretary L. Ilangavon also participated.
