Harvard House champs at Sussex Malabe Sports Meet

Harvard House won the annual Inter-House Sports Meet of the Sussex College Malabe held at a grand ceremony at the G.H. Buddhadasa Stadium, Pelawatte under the patronage of chief guest Sri Lanka’s motor racing icon Dilantha Malagamuwa.
Harvard House accumulated 752 points winning the chess, swimming and scout championships and Oxford House became runners-up with 730 points. Oxford also clinched the netball, badminton and cricket championships.
The trophy presented to the House Preparation and Arrangement was bagged by Stanford House.
The event was also graced by guest and honour Mrs. Dhammika Kulatunga, Assistant Director of Physical Education, Western Province, Sunil Jayatissa, Chairman of Sussex College Network. Head of Sports and Media of the Sussex College Network Mervyn Jayasinghe also participated.
Addressing the gathering, Sussex College Network Chairman Sunil Jayatissa commended Sussex College Malabe Principal Nisthanthi Ratnayake and her energetic staff for the excellent job done to conduct the meet successfully.
