Colts thrash BRC by 6 wickets

View(s): Colts CC beat neighbours BRC by six wickets in their Premier Tier A match concluded at BRC grounds yesterday.
BRC who were bowled out for paltry 168 in response to Colts’ 366 in the first innings, managed 214 following on. This left Colts with a simple run chase of 17 to win.
A career best unbeaten knock of 164 by Mahanama College schoolboy Pavan Ratnayake helped CCC, resuming from their overnight score of 385-8, to amass a massive 547 runs against Moors, who ended the day on 191-3 at the CCC ground.
In other matches played Tamil Union, Chilaw Marians CC and Army SC have already taken first innings leads against NCC, Ragama CC and SSC respectively.
