Induction of the General President for 2020

Senior Professor in Chemistry and Head of the Department of Chemistry University of Kelaniya and Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and Institute of Chemistry Ceylon was inducted as the 79th General President of the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science at a ceremony held on 10th January 2020 at the Hotel Ramada, Colombo.

She has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of The University Grant Commission. She is also a visiting Senior Professor of College of Chemical Sciences, Institute of Chemistry Ceylon.
