The event took place at their main Mount Campus Premises at Mount Lavinia on 31st January 2020.  Two senior academics from the university Mr Paul Marchbank, Dean, School of Media Arts and Technology and Ms Joanne Hooker, Head of Management, Tourism and Events were present at the function. The distinguished academics introduced their university and the programmes to be offered through BCAS from Feb 2020 onwards.

The other VIPs who graced the occasion were the Members of the Board of Governors of BCAS, the Deputy High Commissioner of the Maldives and Representative of CIMA Sri Lana AAT Sri Lanka.

Mr Kasun Dassanayake welcomed the guests, VIPs and the other special invitees who participated at the well-attended function.

While Professor Kshanika Hirumburegama, the former Chairperson of UGC and the current Chairperson of Sri Lanka Science Council spoke how BCAS came to be collaborated with the Solent University Eng Abdul Rahuman traced the 21 year history of BCAS:

BCAS Campus currently stands as a top-ranked private higher education institution with several international academic partnerships.
