Padura 2019, a musical eve organised by the Saukyadana Unit of College of Chemical Sciences for the third consecutive year, was held on the 16th of December at the PPGL Siriwardena auditorium, Adamantane House.
The Saukyadana Unit of CCS takes pride in being one of the most dedicated student societies at the College of Chemical Sciences committed in serving those in need. Last year, the unit was able to renovate an entire children’s ward of the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, thanks to the funds raised through ‘Padura 2018′. This year, the unit hopes to raise enough funds in aid of the cancer patients fighting for their lives at the Apeksha Hospital, Maharagama.
‘Padura 19′ turned out to be an unforgettable eve, where the audience was able to witness pure magic conjured onstage by the talented musicians conveying emotions through song and captivating the hearts of those present.
