BCAS with its strong collaboration with the reputed universities in UK and Australia offers bachelor and master degrees in the disciplines of Business, Law, Engineering, Bio Medical Science, Nursing, Information Technology and Quantity Surveying.

BCAS gives highest priority for quality education and has established reputation for high standards and market relevant competent output. This has been proven by every year through many national and international awards and recognitions by different esteemed bodies in the county and abroad. The institute is thus viewed in high esteem in Sri Lanka for its exceptional quality, recognition and market relevant training.

BCAS with its immense focus on the vocational and higher  education has always entertained strong commitment for research. Academics of the institute engage in productive researches of relevance according to local and international trends. With the first symposium held in 2015, this year’s (2019) Fifth International Research Symposium (IRS) BCAS had organized was a unique event in the year’s calendar.      The pioneering research symposium of 2015 was a turning point in the sphere of private higher education.

Stimulated and inspired by the four highly successful symposiums in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018, the theme of this year’s  BCAS’ International Research Symposium  was  on the urgent and apt subject ‘Developing A Socially Responsible Digital Economy for Sri Lanka’. It was ceremoniously  held on 7th December 2019 with the auspices of academic personalities from several reputed local and global universities.  Prof Indrika Rajapakshe of University of Moratuwa; Prof Kshanika Hirimburruegama , Dean BCAS Campus;  Dr Wayne, Lecturer University of Wolverhampton,  along with several other academics from local and international universities took part in the Symposium and added value to the event.

More than fifty research papers from local and international researchers in academia as well as in the industry in multiple disciplines such as Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Management, Information Technology, Law and International Relations, Science, Social Science and Education had been selected for presentation after a double-blind review in front of highly qualified chairpersons from national and international universities.
