After an intriguing World Cup final where New Zealand missed the title in the narrowest of margin, the World Cup runner-up arrived here in Sri Lanka late Friday night to play Sri Lanka in a Test and T20 series.

They will play two Tests and three T20 internationals against Sri Lanka during their five-week tour to the Island. The picture shows New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson, along with few other players is heading into a Coffee Shop in Colombo.

New Zealand are currently number two in Test rankings and number six in T20I rankings, while the hosts Sri Lanka sit on the sixth and eighth spots in Tests and T20Is respectively.

 The revised schedule

August 8-10: 3-day Tour match at Marians Cricket Grounds, Katunayake
August 14-18: 1st Test at Galle International Cricket Stadium
August 22-26: 2nd Test at P. Sara Oval, Colombo
August 29: T20 warm-up match – Marians Cricket Grounds, Katunayake
September 1: 1st T20I at Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium, Kandy
September 3: 2nd T20I at Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium, Kandy
September 6: 3rd T20I at Pallekelle International Cricket Stadium, Kandy
