Well known academic, researcher, Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing (Rtd), Prof Eugene F. Fregetto, recently conducted an informative session on ‘Publishing Research papers in American Journals’ for the academics of the at its Faculty of Management University of Jayewardenepua Studies & Commerce.
His visit was on the invitation of the Department of Entrepreneurship.
Professor Fregetto of the University of Illinois, Chicago, USA, is an authority on Procurement Policy, Small Business, Privatization, Distributive Politics, Architectural & Structural Engineering and Journalism, the University said. Professor Fregetto assisted in the Research activities of the Department of Entrepreneurship by providing insights and guidance.
A special discussion on ‘how to re-ignite the economy of Sri Lanka’ was held, and the roles of the Department, government, and international organizations were widely discussed, and initiatives of the Department at the national level, were also revisited at the discussion. The Professor engaged in a curricular revision discussion held at the Department of Entrepreneurship. Finally, he conducted an effective session of “Publishing Research Papers in American Journals” for the benefit of Ph.D. candidates of the Faculty of Management Studies and Commerce.
