In creating opportunities for the Sri Lankan students, Degrees from Mod’Art International are now offered in Sri Lanka, taught in the English medium, exposing students to the French culture, during the course. Since Paris is known as a fashion capitol of the world, it is indeed a privilege for the aspiring Sri Lankan students to qualify from a prestigious campus from Paris, for their fashion degree. The three-year Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design is offered at Mod’Art International, Colombo branch, having intakes in January and June every year. This degree is taught according to the French pedagogical system by specially trained staff (from Paris), who are in the lecture panel, to enable to maintain the required standards. Students are evaluated by French evaluators at the end of the course for moderation of marks, where Mod’Art students all over the world are judged on an equal level. On completion of the degree, students have the opportunity of studying further for their Masters level, under the European student’s rate offered in Paris. This degree opens up vast international exposure to the local students, to travel to Europe, mainly Paris and Milan, to understand and experience the subject matter more comprehensively.
