“We used this series to take a look at all the players of the current Under-19 pool of 21 players, in order to prepare for the upcoming tours and the ICC Under-19 World Cup. It is the reason, why we named two squads for the series. Accordingly, we were able to give all the players, an opportunity to play in this series. For some players, it was the very first time, they were tested in the international arena. We can take lots of positives out of this tournament and will use this is a platform to build up for the upcoming assignments,” Sri Lanka Under-19 Coach, Hashan Tillakaratne speaking on the outcome of the series, stated.
