New Zealand is a famous destination for students of all ages who aspire to gain a foreign qualification. Indeed, it is one of the world’s best places to live and study, with an internationally-renowned education system and an unbeatable lifestyle. Each education institution  in New Zealand is responsible for the quality of the education outcomes of their learners. The New Zealand government has processes to ensure the quality of education, so that learners get the skills they need and education organisations provide qualifications that are relevant and good value for money. Hence, the qualifications are globally recognized. New Zealand’s flexible education system has study options to suit every budget and the country has comparatively low cost of living.

New Zealand government agencies monitor the quality of all areas of the education system.   The qualifications offered by non-university tertiary institutions have to be  approved and are monitored by the New Zealand Qualifications Authority(NZQA) andUniversities New Zealand ensures all eight New Zealand universities provide quality qualifications and education. This ensure all qualifications offered are valued as credible and robust both nationally and internationally. Furthermore, special consideration is given for international students under the Education (Pastoral Care of International Students) Code of Practice. Under this code, when students come to study in New Zealand, education providers have an important responsibility to ensure that those students are well informed, safe and properly cared for.In fact, New Zealand was the first country in the world to introduce pastoral care requirements to ensure providers supported and protected their international students.

International students who have achieved a New Zealand qualification are allowed to gain experience in work related to their studies.
