Annual Prize Giving of Vidura College Kalutara Branch a huge success

The Annual Prize Giving of Vidura College Kalutara Branch was held on 14th March 2019 at Divisional Secretariat Dodangoda for the Academic year 2018. The Chief Guest of this prestigious event was Mr. H.D. Dharmasekara a Senior Lecturer of Pasdunrata National College of Education. The Guest of Honour Dr. Indika Wanninayake the Director National Hospital Nagoda, Mr.D.G.Sumanasekara the Managing Director and Principal of Vidura College, Mrs. Kanchana Dassanayke the principal of Vidura College Kalutara Branch, Deputy Principals , Vice Principals, teachers, parents and students took part in this occasion.
Having completed a successful year 2018, the students reaped the harvest for their hard work over a year. The Annual Prize Giving is the most prestigious function of the school for all students and teachers who are eagerly longing for.
Besides being proud of the value education inculcated in students, Vidura College can also be equally proud of their success in the academic field. High level of academic excellence achieved has set a new benchmark for judging the value of the school as a “Good School” by parents.
Through exceptional talents, the students of Vidura College Kalutara Branch have demonstrated, it is eminent that they are bright and shining stars of the sky of Vidura.
Through the cosmic stars are far away yet we can see their twinkling brightness very close. Likewise we have witnessed what they are capable of in their school life. When the brightness of these stars comes together it will glorify the Kalutara Branch as another bright star in the Vidura Galaxy.
