The first General Information Technology (GIT) online trial exam for186,097 candidates, will take place from March 11-18, at 655 examination centres islandwide, said Commissioner General of Examinations, Sanath Pujitha.

The  admission cards for all Candidates’ have been sent through their respective schools, while the candidates will be required to produce a valid identity card- National Identity Card/Passport/Driving Licence.

The Exams Department has set up 173 coordinating centres.

The examination will be held in 2 sessions on 8 days. The Paper I will have 40 multiple choice questions to be marked online, while Paper II will have 7 questions to be answered online.

Possessing smart watches, mobile phones and other electronic devices is prohibited and any person found in breach of regulations will be liable to a 5-year ban from exams.
