Mano Ganesan’s TPA to contest polls in alliance with the UNF
View(s):The Upcountry based Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) led by Mano Ganesan is to contest the upcoming Parliamentary polls under the United National Front (UNF), the alliance umbrella of the United National Party (UNP), a senior leader of the party said.
Velusami Radhakrishnan, leader of Upcountry Peoples’ Front, a constituent party of TPA, told the Sunday Times yesterday that the party had decided to contest under the UNF alliance just as in previous polls since they hoped to gain more votes through an alliance of major political party.
