Inner happiness is a pure virtue consisting of sweetness and innocence. They are feelings of faith in Humanity, but they can be shaken. Faith, without wisdom to back it up, may fail you in a moment of need. So, have dialogue between your feelings and your understanding. They need to know each other, and work together well. It`s an art which teaches to appreciate your inner beauty. “We believe to deliver a tangible experience through Madhura Madhura Krishna dance recital“ says Thushyanthy – Bharatanatyam dancer.

Culture and tradition are not stagnant in its form and expanse. Just like pollen grains being taken around by the wind, culture, tradition and art forms have reached every corner of the world through its migrant diaspora. This has paved way for the creation of many traditional artistes from outside their origin. These artistes go through a stringent and rigorous training in their respective art forms irrespective of being in one place. And through the art form and training they get closer to their roots and become ambassadors of that art form and culture. This is the story of Thushyanthy and Gayathri who are management professionals continuing their passion for dance through a variety of performances.

Gayathri who went to Singapore from India at the age of 18 found her Odissi training dream come true in Singapore. What she could not have had an easy access to if she was in Kerala, she could get in Singapore. Similarly Thushyanthy, was fascinated with dance when she met her guru from Kalashetra who sowed the seed of ultimate purpose, foundation and the beauty of art to experience in her life. Since then this performance showcases two individuals whose dance journey began outside its origin but is closely knit and rooted in the tradition and structure of the art forms they selected and utilize the benefits of dance to the society in which they live.

Entrance for the dancing recital is free of charge.
